The Manila Kendo Club is the premier kendo organization in the Philippines with a general membership composed of students and professionals. Registered with the SEC as a non-stock, non-profit organization since 1996, the MKC is dedicated to the advancement of Kendo in the country. Since 2001, the Club has been invited and participated in several Kendo tournaments in the region such as the ASEAN Kendo Tournament held in Singapore in 2001 and the yearly Hong Kong Asian Invitational Kendo Tournament since 2002.
